Lycos URL Deletion form

You may indicate that a URL or server should be removed from the Lycos catalog using this form. Enter either a URL or a prefix of a URL (thus typing the name of a server will remove all files indexed from that server).

Note that a delete request takes precedence over an inclusion request -- and there is no current way to "delete" a "delete", except by email.

We log the originating host name of each delete request, in case of questions later.

Deletion is now operational, and all delete requests received before 11-Dec-94 were performed on the current small and large databases. Since database updates occur on weekends, it may take up to seven days to process your request.
